Philosophy

Jessica is a dedicated and compassionate practitioner who wants to understand the unique story and personality of each patient. Her gentle approach provides a calming atmosphere for patients to deeply restore body and mind amidst the stress of daily life. She has a special interest in treating the mind-body connection- as she believes the two have a deep influence on each other and a person's general well being. She believes that deep healing stems from an exploration of self, and she strives to hold a space for patients to discover and transform the root of their physical, mental and emotional unease.

Personal experience/interests

Jess works with a wide variety of conditions including: mental/emotional health, insomnia/sleep disorders, stress, IBS, chronic or acute muscle tension/pain, menstrual pain/disorders, headaches/migraines, alopecia areata, concussion recovers, menopausal care and bell's palsy.

Jessica's interest in Chinese medicine started at a young age, where visits to a skilled Chinese medicine practitioner instilled within her a deep trust and fascination in the healing arts of her culture.

Favourite muscle: After looking at a person's tongue, feeling their pulse, and listening to each person's story, Jessica's favourite challenge is to find the few Acupuncture points out of the hundreds in the body that would address the root of each particular client's concern.
